Extra!!! Extra!!! Read All About The Union Of Scarlett & John

EXTRA!!! EXTRA!!! READ ALL ABOUT IT...
Scarlett and John Tie the Knot

What an amazing, one of a kind wedding!  I've never seen anything like it and it was so much fun!  The open air Photo Booth, the vintage feel of everything around you, the flowers, the food, the band, the adorable attendants (their dogs), the Giant Jenga. You get the picture it was all amazing so instead of talking about it I will show you in photos.

Tupelo "The Dog Of Honor" really stole the show.  When you walked into the wedding this was favor table homemade jam packaged perfectly and little match boxes. Every detail was thought of, all the little doilies and handkerchiefs were the perfect finishing touches throughout the decor.

How the programs were displayed...

The ceremony backdrop was perfect!

Bouts and Bouquets made the ceremony backdrop!

The flowers were beautiful!!!
Bouts and Bouquets did a fabulous job!
Loved Scarlett's bouquet, it was absolutely perfect!

As Scarlett walked down the aisle I know her
dad was right there with her smiling. These beautiful
pictures attached to her bouquet reminded her all day long
that he was there in spirit.

One of the many beautiful centerpieces!
Dad still has to tie John's tie.
This was adorable John told me before hand what
his dad would say and his dad said just that
while he was doing it "You know
there are YouTube videos on how to do this."
John just looked at me and grinned!

The Centerpieces were all different and totally unique to each table.
Vintage books, vintage medicine bottles, linen, burlap and the perfect tiny bouquets
that adorned them.
This stunning ring was given
to the beautiful bride to be
right before walking down
the aisle
 it was her grandmothers.
Tears from everyone in the room
 such an amazing moment!
John loves The Grateful Dead, Scarlett had these
shoes custom made for their wedding day.
He of course loved them and just keep staring at them.
That's not the only Jerry Garcia surprise she had
for him though.

There he is hiding in the back of the cake. Hello Jerry!
Perfect bridal cake from the front
but check out the hidden surprise
in the back....

Check out the flag how cute is that! Driftwood Point was the perfect venue
 for this wedding!
Giant Jenga was a huge hit!

I had so much fun getting family photos, best friend photos, group shots and so much more with this
what an amazing idea!!

The Open Air Photo Booth Was
A Huge Hit!!!

I mentioned those adorable attendants!  Well here they are...

Hookah The Best Dog
Tupelo The Dog of Honor

Rachel and The Beatnik Playboys this was by far the best
entertainment at a wedding in such a long time. This band rocked and Rachel has
such an amazing voice!

Thank you Scarlett and John
for having me capture your forever memories
and be part of your amazing day!

Small Town Living As A Lifestyle Photographer

I've grown up and lived in the same small town for almost all of life.  I did move away right after high school thinking I needed out of this nothing to do little town.  When I first moved back it was because of circumstance but quickly realized it was because this where I belonged.  I love Madison, Ohio and have started my own small business right where my roots began.  When I started Serendipity Photography 3 short years ago I had no idea how fast word would spread and I watched the calendar fill up quickly.  About 18 months ago I got laid off from my job of 16years, a job I enjoyed and loved but none the less not as much as I love photography.   I've been snapping photo's since I have been a child and the passion only grew more as I became an adult, and I was already taking photo's on the side for family and friends. So the decision was made to go full time with my photography.

The best part of this decision is I still get to watch the little ones I watched grow at my previous job.  Maybe not all of them and in some situations watching the once little ones start their new families and raise little ones themselves.  A lot of my first clients were people I graduated with or friends I had meet over the course of living in this wonderful little town and it's surrounding communities.  The word spread and now I am meeting more and more wonderful new clients and those clients are telling other new clients.  However I will always keep a special place in my heart for those initial clients/friends/family that had so much faith in my talent.

When I take photographs of your new baby, family or even your wedding or special event I don't look at it as snapping as many pictures as I can but freezing special memories that will forever be captured in time.  That is what means the most to me not the posed picture where you are all perfect but those moments when there is total chaos and everyone is doing there own thing.  Let's face it life is not picture perfect and sure we get lucky and get those picture perfect shots but it's always the shots before and after that make me giggle.  I always keep those photos and put them on your disc so you can remember years form now that even why Johnny was running to the left and Sally wouldn't smile unless her finger was up her nose and you look like you've lost your mind and your partner is laughing hysterically because they see their  family as it is,chaotic!   The pictures are wonderful to look at now but in ten years when you have all changed so much and may be in different parts of the country those photo's will remind you of the days gone by and put a smile on your face and those memories stored away in heart and mind will come flooding back!

Everyday I am in awe of our little community and the people who live in it!  I hope I get to capture your beautiful family, newborn, senior or special event next.
